| Tips for the Environment |
1. Put a non-corrosive plastic container or glass jar full of water in your toilet tank; use a size that displaces about a third of your tank.
2. Try riding your bike or walking
instead of driving a car whenever possible. You'll help save energy and do your part to lessen the air pollution, as well as stay fit and healthy.
3.Turn off the lights when you leave a room and turn off the television or radio when
you're not using them.
4. You can save about nine gallons a year if you turn the faucet off when you brush your teeth.
5. Consider a vegan diet. Veganism reduces the need for animal products and in doing
so reduces the amount of land and water used in animal farming. It also reduces the amount of animal waste from factory farms, feed lots, and slaughterhouses going into our water sources. |
